For the last 12 years, the Indian Students Association at ASU has presented Jhankaar, an event that showcases a wide variety of talents from across the ASU community.

The student organization’s president, Ronak Tanna, said the fall 2019 event brought “an evening in India” to Gammage.

In October Jhankaar showcased music, dance, food, games and many exciting performances from Arizona State University students. The crowd witnessed the talents of ASU musicians, dancers, stand-up comedians and much more. There was even a fashion show.

After the two-hour show, the audience was led to an outside carnival that was themed around the festival of lights in India.
