During this season of gratitude, consider participating in ASU Changemaker Central’s university-wide donation drive in observance of national Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week.

ASU Family is pleased to partner with Aramark, ASU’s on-campus dining partner, to provide a Thanksgiving menu of turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, green beans, cranberry sauce, pumpkin pie and an extra dessert to go.

“ASU families want to ensure that our entire Sun Devil student community — international, out-of-state and local students can enjoy a Thanksgiving meal — whether they are far from home or local without a place to go,” said Robin Okun Hengl, executive director of parent engagement.

ASU has hosted the dinner since 2011 and since then the event has grown to serve 400–500 students each year. ASU Family and family donors nationwide provide financial support to sponsor the dinner and help create a warm, family-style atmosphere for students unable to go home for the holiday.

“Understanding that not all ASU students are able to go home for the holidays, we are pleased to join with Aramark to continue a tradition dedicated to fostering a sense of community for our students at Thanksgiving,” said Kellyn Johnson, director of ASU Family.

You can support the Thanksgiving Dinner fund through the ASU Foundation and help ensure that students enjoy Thanksgiving with their ASU family.
