 Strong verbs and action words

Employers want to see who you are. They want to see how and if you would be a good fit for their company. They want to see your work experiences, possible certificates and language fluency.

You want to collect all of your past jobs to craft the perfect resume. For example, I used to work at a restaurant in their take-out department. So, for that, I can say that I know cash handling customer service, and have the ability to work in fast-paced environments.

To put that into business lingo, it would say, “Provided exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.”

Short and concise.

Now, notice how I used strong verbs. Those are going to be what makes you stand out the most to employers.

After completing our strong job descriptions, we are going to talk about ourselves. Yay! Again, we must use strong verbs and adjectives to make ourselves professional.
Talk about how you’re dedicated and result-orientated and your capability to provide satisfactory customer service. That you’re diligent and ready to get the job done.

At the end of your resume, make sure you go ahead and add any certificates such as CPR and food handlers card. Put that down if you are fluent in any language other than English. Indeed is a great tool to use to format your resume and search for jobs.
And, with that, you have the perfect resume. Stay tuned for how to tailor your resume for the job you want.
